Go to the pub
Dublin has an amazing nightlife, and so this is definitely something you should explore during your visit. Every street has at least one pub and all of them are busy. Temple Bar, Murphy’s and Porterhouse Pub are among some of the top establishments to enjoy some of the best brews Ireland has to offer.
Trinity College
For any fan of books, Trinity College is a must when you visit Dublin. It is the home of the Book of Kells, and for a small amount of money, you can tour the impressive campus as well as see over 200,000 books.
Guinness Tour
No trip to Dublin would be complete without taking a tour of the Guinness factory. These tours make great St Patricks Day gifts, as you make your way around the brewery to see how the beer is made. There are other online gifts for St Patricks Day available if Guinness doesn’t float your boat, but at the top of the brewery is one of the best views of Dublin, so it’s definitely worth your time.
St. Stephen’s Green
Right in the heart of the city, you will find St. Stephen’s Green, a beautifully lush oasis that is perfect for getting away from the bustle of the town. The green is an ideal spot for a bite to eat, reading or just to watch the world go by.
Kilmainham Gaol (The Jail)
For those of you who love their history and like every prison documentary out there, you must book to go and visit Kilmainham Gaol. This museum was once a prison and visitors can learn about the different revolutionaries who were both imprisoned and executed there.
